July 4, 2000 The fourth was a little quieter than the first, but we had a great turnout nonetheless. There were tons of kids games - from trike races to babycrawls, there was something to do for everyone. Dick Taylor brought his personal collection of old postcards, Brent Wilcoxson was seen on the horse drawn carriage which was specially hand-built for the Village at Winona. There was great food to be had - from watermelons to slushies and iced drinks. Special thanks to Travis and the Winona Lake Free Methodist group for their fantastic "hot dawgs." A great show of sport out on the lake courtesy of the Wildman brothers was enjoyed by folks out on the lake and on the shore. JD Woods closed the evening with a folk concert featuring many old classics. Joshua Petrillo, webmaster
