Coronavirus (COVID-19): Town Hall Closed to the Public

Due to COVID-19 virus and associated safety concerns, the Winona Lake Town Hall has decided to take precautionary measures to reduce exposure for our employees and community members.

The Winona Lake Town Hall will be closed to the public beginning Wednesday, March 18 until further notice.

Payments may be made using our drop box located outside the Town Hall along the street by the mailbox or online through our website. If leaving payments in our drop box, please pay with either check or money order and not cash.

Town employees will remain working during this time. If you have utility, permit/zoning concerns or questions, please contact us at 547-267-7581 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

All activities at the Senior Center have been suspended and the building will be closed. If you had a rental, you will receive a refund.

All town parks, shelters and restrooms will be closed. The Heritage Trail and Lake City Greenway will remain open to be used by the public at your discretion.

All town utilities such as trash, recycling and sewer, as well as maintenance, will continue to be provided.

The Winona Lake Police Department and the Winona Lake Fire Department will continue to operate as usual and will continue to provide for the safety needs of our community.

The procedures listed are some immediate steps that have been taken to reduce the risk of exposure in public spaces. Please visit the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website for all practices we would like the citizens of Winona Lake to consider.

It is our goal to keep the public informed and to be able to continue town business as usual while keeping the community safe. We plan to update the public as often as possible and encourage the community to support one another during this time.
